La-Guinea: Runoff elections postponed

Thursday, Sept. 16th., 2010
La-Guinea Second Phase of voting Postponed Sine Die
Following the presentation of the Report on the Independent Electoral Commission’s Preparedness to hold elections on sunday, 9/19/2010, and upon revelations of spectacular and malignant deficiencies, Interim President of La-Guinea, HE Hon. Sekouba Konate, has declared the cardianal elections postponed sine die.
The President has instructed the two contestants, Hons. Alpha Conde and Cellou Dalein Diallo, to seek counsel and further guidance from the adhoc ECOWAS/AU mediator Burkina Faso President HE Blaise Compaore.
AU Secretary General Jean Ping is expected in Conakry today to advance the goal of holding the cardinal election without much more delay.
We at The GDP recommend the following and in this order:
1. The Independent Electoral Commission be overhauled Totally, and NOW.
2. A New CENI be constituted to comprise equal number from the two contesting parties, ECOWAS/AU, The adhoc International Contact Group for La-Guinea, and La-Guinea Matap.
3. A new date for elections be set one month from the completion of steps (1) and (2). This one month GOOD extension will make up for suspension of campaigning in honour of Ramadan and Eid’L Fitr.

The GDP.

My spouse and i got very satisfied that Louis could conclude his investigation from your precious recommendations he discovered out of the site. It’s not at all simplistic just to find yourself giving away things that some people have been making money from. And we have you to thank for this. Those explanations you have made, the easy website menu, and the friendships you help to promote, are all fabulous, and our son and the family find it helpful. Thank you for the effort!
